Il contesto \u00e8 quello dell\u2019Europa col piano 20-20-20 in un\u2019ottica di decarbonizzazione, ottenuta tramite l\u2019incremento delle fonti rinnovabili e progressiva chiusura dei grossi impianti esistenti. Ci\u00f2 significa cambiare radicalmente il sistema produttivo, che diventa sempre pi\u00f9 distribuito e richiede un aiuto importante all\u2019energy storage per colmare il disaccoppiamento tra domanda e produzione, rendendo utilizzabile anche l\u2019energia intermittente generata dalle rinnovabili. Sono state presentate e analizzate le maggiori fonti di Energy storage esistenti, soffermandosi sugli aspetti caratterizzanti queste fonti di accumulo, tra cui costo, vita, capacit\u00e0 e potenza, settori di utilizzo, problematiche, ecc.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">PHES (Pumped Hydro Energy Storage)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">CAES (Compressed Air Energy Storage)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">TES (Thermal Energy Storage)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">FES (Flywheel Energy Storage)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">SMES (Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">MES (Magnetic Energy Storage) -&gt;RFX Padova (fusione nucleare)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">SCES (Supercapacitor Energy Storage)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">ECES&nbsp; (ElectroChemical Energy Storage)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ren21.net\/?attachment_id=10283\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"margin-right: 8px; margin-left: 8px;\" src=\"http:\/\/ledspadova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Figure-30-Overview-storage-capacity-of-different-energy-storage-systems1.jpg\" alt=\"Overview storage capacity of different energy storage systems\" width=\"2404\" height=\"2194\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le novit\u00e0 attualmente in fase di studio, soprattutto negli States (ma non solo), che vedranno applicazioni nei prossimi anni saranno:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>L\u2019utilizzo in un prossimo futuro di microreti in DC, dato che la maggior parte degli apparecchi domestici funzionano in continua;<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019evoluzione delle batterie al Litio con le batterie Litio-Zolfo (accompagnate da quelle al Fluoro e Magnesio);<\/li>\n<li>Automobili elettriche che costeranno meno di 20k$, grazie alla riduzione dei costi delle batterie che sono quelle che pesano maggiormente, con conseguente aumento di autonomia, riduzione dei tempi di ricarica;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_3979\" style=\"width: 3576px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/275015170_Redox_flow_batteries_for_the_storage_of_renewable_energy_A_review\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3979\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3979\" src=\"http:\/\/ledspadova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/RedoxFlowBatteries-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"3566\" height=\"1879\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ledspadova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/RedoxFlowBatteries-1.png 3566w, https:\/\/www.ledspadova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/RedoxFlowBatteries-1-500x263.png 500w, https:\/\/www.ledspadova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/RedoxFlowBatteries-1-1200x632.png 1200w, https:\/\/www.ledspadova.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/RedoxFlowBatteries-1-768x405.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 3566px) 100vw, 3566px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-3979\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fonte: P.
